Mia Lehmusvaara

Mia Lehmusvaara advises clients on all matters under labour law and in the healthcare and life science industries.

Mia has 15 years of experience representing and advising Finnish employers and employees in employment law, most recently acting as Employment Director in Finland’s second largest employer with 28 000 employees. Mia has extensive expertise regarding the labour market in Finland and she assists clients in all matters concerning locally and universally binding collective agreements. Mia has profound know-how regarding regulation of public servants.

Mia has special expertise in the healthcare and life science industries and advises clients on all regulatory and commercial matters regarding producing, providing and purchasing of healthcare related services and goods, including public procurement processes. Mia assists healthcare organizations and professionals with liability, professional malpractice and damage claims as well as in criminal proceedings.

Mia provides services in Finnish and English and also speaks fluent German.

Mia is a member of the Labor Law legal expert team of the Finnish Bar Association.
